I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Settimo Cielo. the stunning views over the Gulf of Naples were truly amazing. The location was ideal, with just a 10-minute walk to downtown Sorrento, creating a nice balance away from the crowds. However, I did find that the towels were quite thin and the overall decor felt a bit outdated.

Rooms
6.0
My room was comfortable, though it was basic and a bit cramped. The large shower was a plus, but the bathroom could have used better lighting. While the air conditioning worked fine, the mattress was a bit on the hard side for my liking.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any inquiries. Joseph, the owner, truly brought an old-school Italian charm to the experience. however, I encountered a mix of helpfulness and indifference at times, which was a bit confusing.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was fantastic. a scenic 10-minute walk to the center of Sorrento made it easy to explore the area, yet still offered the peacefulness I sought during my stay. The view from my balcony overlooking the sea was nice.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was quite basic, offering some local favorites, though I wished for a bit more variety. It satisfied my needs, but I couldn't help but feel it could have included more options to start the day off right.
Facilities

The hotel had a lovely outdoor pool area that was a great spot for relaxing, with plenty of sun. I appreciated having 24/7 bar access. although the outdoor grounds could have used a little tidying up.

My stay at Hotel Settimo Cielo had its ups and downs. The amazing views over the Gulf of Naples were a highlight, and I appreciated the friendly staff who went out of their way to assist me. However, I found the rooms quite basic and in need of renovations, with some cleanliness issues that affected my overall enjoyment. The location was convenient, just a 10-minute walk into Sorrento, but the lack of beach access nearby was a drawback.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a lovely view of the bay, but it was quite outdated and showed signs of wear, like mould on the walls which I found off-putting. The bed was a little hard for my taste, though I did sleep fairly well despite that.
Service
8.0
The staff were lovely and accommodating. they made me feel welcome from the start. I particularly appreciated their assistance with my requests and inquiries, which added a personal touch to my stay.
Location
7.0
The location was fantastic for accessing Sorrento; I enjoyed the short walk into town. I appreciated how I could easily hop on a bus right outside the hotel to explore further, but it was a bit of a trek to reach the beach.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was basic, featuring items like fruit, croissants, and ham. it suited my needs each morning, but I would have liked a bit more variety. Still, enjoying breakfast with that stunning view was a nice bonus.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was nice and clean, perfect for relaxation after exploring, but the hotel lacked some facilities like a fridge unless rented, which was a bit inconvenient.

I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Settimo Cielo, thanks to the stunning views and welcoming staff. My room came with a beautiful balcony overlooking Sorrento and Naples, which was a huge plus. However, the breakfast options were pretty basic and I found the beds a bit hard for my comfort. Despite these few drawbacks, I’d definitely return for the very nice ambiance and excellent service.

Rooms

While my room offered amazing views, it was quite basic and the bed was a bit hard, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Service
9.0
The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to assist me, especially with dietary requirements, which made my stay more enjoyable.
Location
8.0
The hotel is perched on a hill, providing gorgeous views, but be prepared for a 10-minute walk to the center of Sorrento, which might be a bit steep for some.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite limited, mostly just boiled eggs and hard bread, so I wished for more variety, but it was a good start to the day.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was lovely and quiet, perfect for lounging, yet a bit chilly for swimming, which was disappointing.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Settimo Cielo. The stunning views from my balcony were a highlight of my stay, and the location provided a peaceful escape from the bustle of the town. However, I found the breakfast offerings a bit lacking and the walk to Sorrento could be dangerous due to its narrow path. Overall, it’s a decent choice if you want amazing sights at a reasonable price.

Rooms

My room was basic but clean and comfortable, having a nice balcony with a splendid view. However, the room’s interior felt a bit outdated, which affected my overall comfort.

Location

The location offered amazing views and was just a short walk from the main town, but the steep path could be quite treacherous at times.

Breakfast was traditional and included some local options, but I would have appreciated a greater variety and better coffee.

The pool area was lovely for those hot afternoons, though it was inconvenient that no towels were provided for guests.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Settimo Cielo. The views were absolutely stunning, overlooking the Gulf of Naples, which I loved. However, the hotel itself felt pretty outdated and in need of renovations. The breakfast options were quite basic, and I struggled with the hard bed during my stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had a amazing view, but it was showing its age. The decor felt like it hadn't changed since the fifties, and the shower had some issues during a storm. Cleanliness was good, yet the room could have used some updates.
Service
8.0
The staff were really friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with my needs. They quickly provided extra pillows when I requested them, which I appreciated.
Location
7.0
The location was picturesque, situated on a hill with an easy walk into town. While the beautiful surroundings made it worth it, the narrow path to the hotel could be a bit tricky.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was quite basic, with rolls, toast, and fruit. It became repetitive over a few days, but the option to walk into town for a more substantial meal was nice.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was a highlight, as it was clean and provided a nice space for relaxation. However, amenities like in-room drinking facilities were lacking, which would have enhanced my comfort.
